Key responsibilities

Once our customers cargo has started its journey towards its destination by sea, road or air your job begins. Using your great coordinating and communication skills, you will ensure great customer service by managing the end-to-end delivery process.

This involves coordinating with the various countries and global shipment teams and ensuring that all documents and practicalities are in place.

More specifically, you will:

Build customer relationships and be curious about customers’ business needs and drivers in order to better serve them

Ensure the whole shipment life cycle is executed smoothly, monitor agreed service-level agreements and identify root causes if expectations are not met

Coordinate with the commercial organization on customer commitments and forecasts

We are looking for

You are ready for new challenges and want to deliver a great customer service. You tackle new tasks and challenges with a smile, and you are curious to learn. You are a positive team player who takes ownership of the tasks given to you.

You have as a minimum completed one of the following educations:
EUX, HHX (gives direct access) or STX with a subsequent EUDS 5-week school course in Aarhus Business College (press on this link to read about the 2-year school program).

We expect that you speak and write English effortlessly, and it is an advantage if you:
• Are well structured, proactive, and independent
• Have experience with customer service
• Have well developed coordinating and communication skills
• Are not afraid to speak your mind

The traineeship is a 2-year program and in Maersk it’s starts half yearly 1st. February and 1st. September 2022. Last application date is 30/11/2021 for both start times, so please write in your application what date you apply for and attach relevant documents as grades etc.
